This Cookie Policy is issued by Codilink UK Ltd t/a Coniq (“Coniq”, “we”, “us”, “our”). It applies to cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons, pixels and tags) used on the website at https://www.coniq.com and any subdomains operated by us (the “Site”). It does not apply to cookies set by our Clients on their own websites or shopper-facing properties; in respect of those, the relevant Client is responsible for the cookies it deploys.
Legal framework. We use cookies in accordance with regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (“PECR”), as amended by section 122 of the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 (“DUAA 2025”) with effect from 5th February 2026, and (where the cookies result in the processing of personal data) the UK General Data Protection Regulation (“UK GDPR”) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Compliance is overseen by the Information Commission (the statutory successor to the Information Commissioner’s Office under Part 6 of the DUAA 2025).

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are used to store small pieces of information. They are stored on your device when you load a website in your browser. These cookies help us make the Site function properly, make it more secure, provide a better user experience, and understand how the Site performs, so that we can improve it.
References in this Cookie Policy to “cookies” should be read as references to cookies and to other similar technologies that store or access information on your device (for example, pixels, tags, software development kits and local storage objects), to the extent the same rules apply to those technologies under regulation 6 PECR.
How do we use cookies?
As most of the online services, our site uses first-party and third-party cookies for several purposes. First-party cookies are primarily necessary for the Site to function correctly, although some first-party cookies (for example, those used for analytics and to recognise returning visitors) may also process personal data.

Lawful basis. We rely on your consent (under regulation 6 PECR and Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR) for all cookies that are not strictly necessary. Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis that they are exempt from the consent requirement under regulation 6(4)(a) PECR. From 5th February 2026, regulation 6 PECR (as amended by the DUAA 2025) provides additional exemptions for certain low-risk purposes, including cookies used for statistical analysis of how the Site is used and cookies used to maintain or restore the security of a service requested by the user, provided that the user is given clear and comprehensive information and an easy means to object. We treat those exempted cookies in line with the new framework while continuing to provide controls in our consent banner.
What types of cookies do we use?
Strictly Necessary: Some cookies are strictly necessary for the operation of our Site. They allow us to maintain your session, balance load across our infrastructure, recognise that you have accepted or declined cookies, and protect the Site against malicious activity. These cookies do not require consent and cannot be disabled through the consent banner; you can block them via your browser settings, but doing so will affect the operation of the Site.
Statistics / Analytics: These cookies store information like the number of visitors to the website, the number of unique visitors, which pages of the website have been visited, the source of the visit, etc. These data help us understand and analyze how well the Site performs and where it needs improvement. International transfers via third-party cookies
A number of the third-party cookies described above are set by providers established outside the United Kingdom, including Google LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc., LinkedIn Corporation, X Corp., Vimeo, Inc. and Workable Technology Ltd. Where these providers process personal data outside the UK as independent controllers or in their capacity as our processors, the data is transferred under appropriate safeguards, which may include the EU Standard Contractual Clauses together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum (or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement), reliance on UK adequacy regulations where they apply, or other valid transfer mechanisms recognised under the Data Protection Act 2018 and the DUAA 2025. How can I control the cookie preferences?
Should you decide to change your preferences later through your visit, you can click on the “Manage consent” link in the footer of our Site. This will display the consent notice again enabling you to change your preferences or withdraw your consent entirely. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out on the basis of consent before withdrawal.

Browser-based opt-out signals. We do not currently honour Do Not Track (“DNT”) signals, as there is no established industry standard for how those signals should be interpreted. We do, however, honour validly transmitted Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signals to the extent required by applicable law.
