We are looking for an exceptional and dynamic leader for our technical team, joining the senior management of the company to provide vision and leadership for developing and delivering technology at Coniq.

Someone who will weigh in on the strategy of the company, leveraging past experience in a SaaS environment and being a passionate and innovative technical evangelist, to help drive the company through its next stages of growth.

Coniq works with over 40 shopping centres, and over 700 retail and hospitality brands across the world. Coniq’s clients range from large shopping centre groups such as Unibail Rodamco, Value Retail,  and VIA to leading retail and hospitality clients such as Starbucks.

Coniq are specialists in providing a suite of SaaS based loyalty and customer engagement tools for Shopping Centres, Retail and the Hospitality sectors. Coniq’s proprietary engagement platform includes proprietary point of sales hardware and software, making complex loyalty solutions run seamlessly across vast multi-brand environments. Supported by Coniq’s customer and brand engagement teams, the Coniq platform provides multi-channel marketing, CRM, sales data analysis and reporting across online and offline programs.

The team and the technology

We are focussing on selling our core SaaS-based loyalty platform to enterprise customers, continually developing and improving on the core suite of integrated products.

You will manage a current team of 15 people, with a local team of 11, including an operations manager and development lead, and 4 more based in our offshore support and development site.

Our technology stack is focused on PHP 7 codebase through the Symfony framework, with relational and columnless databases alongside Native Android applications.

What you’ll do

As part of our Senior Leadership team:

  • Own and drive the technological direction of Coniq, managing goals, budgets and resources
  • Develop Coniq’s technical suppliers, partnerships and integrations strategy
  • Push the innovation agenda to keep Coniq’s engagement platform ahead of all competition

And as leader of our technological agenda:

  • Taking a monolithic PHP application, breaking it into micro-services, and tailoring the programming language to each service
  • Scaling up our API’s and data processing capabilities as we focus on enterprise clients
  • Designing a framework for our Android devices which enables them to be remotely built, managed and updated

Required experience

  • Working in a dynamic and growing enterprise SaaS business
  • Working within and managing a cross-functional technical team in an Agile environment
  • Managing and mentoring technical managers and developers
  • Internal C-Level interactions to drive the strategy and success of the business
  • Senior level external client communications (pre- and post-sale, support and sales)
  • Deep experience of working with highly technical applications and complex solution design
  • Vendor and 3rd party supplier selection and management
  • Strong experience in SaaS, data analysis and retail environments will all be considered an advantage

The ideal candidate

You’ll have some of the following traits:

The Opportunity

Coniq is looking for new Sales Support Manager to help support our Global Sales Team. The chosen candidate will be based in London and will work closely with our sales and marketing teams. If you are dynamic, like a fast-paced environment and want to work for an exciting PropTech we would like to talk to you.

This is an extremely exciting role which includes CRM management and qualifying inbound leads as well as providing general sales support to our high-performing sales team who supply loyalty solutions to the world’s leading retail destinations.

Who we’re looking for

  • A minimum of 2 years of Sales Support experience
  • Excellent ZoHo CRM system knowledge – be the company expert
  • Excellent presentation making skills
  • Strong organisation skills and analytical skills
  • Good telephone manner and lead qualification skills
  • Ability to provide data, reports and presentations to help the sales team
  • Knowledge in the tracking of sales targets
  • CRM management experience, including processing new sales leads
  • RFP response experience a plus
  • Strong self-starter
  • A team player attitude, happy to work alongside everyone from our prospective Clients and the Coniq Leadership Team to summer interns
  • An understanding of shopping centre marketing or sales a plus

Key Tasks

  • Manage all inbound sales leads, responding as the first port of call, qualifying and subsequently allocating to the sales team
  • Manage email campaigns ahead of a large number of international trade events
  • Arrange demonstration meetings, planning travel to maximise sales team efficiency
  • Be the company expert for ZoHo, our sales CRM tool, providing training and support to sales team members
  • Provide ZoHo reports on sales pipeline, trade event performance and activity
  • Create and manage the budget tracker for sales team travel and association memberships, reporting monthly to Chief Commercial Officer
  • Work with sales managers to update the monthly sales forecast and report to CCO
  • Manage email campaigns between ZoHo and Coniq’s proprietary email platform for every email campaign
  • Assist in completing RFI’s and RFP’s
  • Develop email campaigns to create business leads
  • CRM management experience, including processing new sales leads
  • Assisting in preparing sales presentations and proposals
  • Lead qualification and allocation – plus inbound report preparation

The Account Director role is a key position where you will be directly managing some of our key client relationships.

You will craft the team and introduce new processes built on industry best practices.  Managing and leading by example, this is definitely a role for a team-player manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading Account Managers and Account Execs, as appropriate, by example
  • Main point of contact for senior representatives of key client(s)
  • Be the voice of the client within the business
  • Build long-term relationships and grow accounts by identifying and targeting opportunities
  • Work with Project Managers to design and deliver new technological solutions
  • Confidence to work with C level clients to plan marketing and loyalty strategy at the highest level
  • Able to construct business cases for clients and to draw relevant insights and actions from Big Data systems
  • Managing the process of renewing and negotiating contracts with our largest clients (£1m+/year)

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Led client accounts with annual revenues of more than £250K.
  • Experience in developing and managing client relationships across multiple departments
  • Understanding of CRM and loyalty marketing
  • Minimum 5-6 years Account Management experience.
  • Experience in managing and developing Account Managers
  • Understand technology and technical integration processes
  • German language skills

A big bonus would be to have experience in retail/shopping centres or with clients in those industries.

The Opportunity

The person we’re looking for

As a data engineer, you will be responsible for the day to day operations in the databases servicing our range of products. Reporting to the Data Operations Lead, you will have a mix of responsibilities including providing data related solutions for specific accounts, provide ad hoc reporting for clients, and investigating platform issues through database and log analysis.

Responsibilities

Data Engineering

  • Ensure team standards and best practices are adhered to when features are designed/enhanced
  • Troubleshoot poor query performance and propose solutions
  • Investigate data related issues and work with the platform team to establish a solution

Business Intelligence

  • Generate ad hoc reports for clients
  • Support data analyst with database queries
  • Ensure data reported is accurate and reliable

Internal Business Support

  • Support business with data related queries
  • Working with team members to establish any issues with the platform and report to the tech team
  • Work with team members to produce solutions for data related features missing from the platform. Gather requirements and suggest solutions.

Background

  • Familiar with working with relational databases (preference for MySQL)
  • Familiar with OLTP and OLAP design
  • Familiar with working in Linux based Environment
  • Familiar with command line usage and bash scripting
  • Familiar with logging technologies (preference for ELK stash)
  • Experience with BI and Reporting Tools (preference for Tableau)
  • Strong problem solving and logical thinking abilities
  • Strong communication ability; able to discuss with users and be confident in understanding the requirements of the business

The Team

The role is within the Data Operations section of Tech, an agile, multi-disciplinary team with which you will work closely in the following areas:

  • Assisting with database optimisation, structuring and reporting
  • Large scale data processing
  • Managing transactional and analytical data engines
  • Work with Developers to identify and investigate potential bugs, and validating database changes through product enhancements
  • Work with the BI team to define, optimise and troubleshoot complex reporting queries
  • Support QA with tasks that require database testing and analysis
  • Work with Systems Admin to identify and resolve potential issues, and assist in large-scale data processes

The role will communicate with other parts of the business such as Client Services and Project Management:

  • Provide ad hoc reports for clients
  • Support with platform usage and ad hoc data related queries

This is an extremely exciting role which includes lead prospecting, nurturing and closing of Coniq SaaS solutions to the Retail Property industry.
